What this covers

This policy covers rockwallgaragedoorpros.com, the website of Rockwall Garage Door Pros, a garage door repair and installation business working in Rockwall and the surrounding area. It explains what we collect when you use the site or contact us, why we hold it, and how to get it removed.

What we collect

What you send us. If you fill in a form or call the number on this site, we take your name, your phone number or email address, the address where the work is needed, and whatever you tell us about the door. We ask for the address because a garage door quote depends on getting to you, and we cannot price a job without knowing where it is.

What the server records. Like most websites, ours logs the pages requested, the approximate location the request came from, the browser used, and the time. These logs are not tied to a name.

Analytics. We may use a web analytics service to count visits and see which pages people actually read. That service sets a cookie or similar identifier. It tells us how many people looked at a page. It does not tell us who they are.

What we do with it

We use your contact details to answer your enquiry, quote the work, arrange a visit, and follow up about that job. We use the site and analytics data to understand which pages are useful and which are not.

We do not sell your information. We do not pass it to advertisers or list brokers.

We share it only where we have to: with the suppliers that run our website, email and phone systems, and with anyone we are legally required to give it to.

How long we keep it

Enquiries that do not turn into work are deleted once they are clearly cold. Records tied to a job we carried out are kept for as long as we may need them for warranty, tax or legal reasons, and then deleted.

Most browsers let you block or clear cookies. The site works without them.

Children

This site is for people arranging work on a building. It is not aimed at children and we do not knowingly collect information from them.

Changes

If this policy changes, the version on this page changes with it. There is no separate archive, so what you read here is what applies.
