The DIY Question
A torsion spring holds enough stored tension to break a wrist or worse, and that's true no matter how new the door is. If your Parker garage door has a torsion spring - and if the house went up around 2005, it almost certainly does - leave the spring adjustment and replacement to someone who does it daily.
